Ty completed his Honours Bachelor of Science degree with high distinction from the University of Toronto. He then went on to complete his Masters in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto as well. He was involved with clinical research with both his undergraduate and graduate degrees, including a research study investigating the effects of aging on different sensory systems and balance. This was later published in Physical Therapy, which is an American peer-reviewed medical journal. Ty has continued to enhance his clinical skills by completing his Clinical Doctor of Physical Therapy degree focusing on the advanced management of musculoskeletal disorders.

Ty practiced for several years as a physiotherapist in Victoria, BC. He has been involved with the clinical education of physiotherapists since 2013 and continues to be affiliated with the University of British Columbia as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy.

Ty’s approach to physiotherapy is based on ensuring a thorough assessment and looking at the body as a whole. He uses an evidence-based approach to treatment and utilizes trigger point dry needling, manual therapy, corrective exercises and self-management strategies to ensure his patients have a comprehensive plan towards addressing their concerns. He also provides Vestibular rehabilitation to patients with dizziness or balance problems.

Tania graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science in the Biology Physiology specialization. Here, she grew her passion to understand the body and how it functions. Curious and driven to learn more, she continued at McMaster University to complete her Master of Science Physiotherapy education. During her education, Tania had the pleasure of working with clients who were driven to overcome a variety of conditions ranging from shoulder instability and pain, to clients with knee and hip replacements.

Tania understands how injuries can interrupt your daily life and strives to assist others return to the activities they are passionate about using an evidence-based and collaborative approach. Tania has particular clinical interests in sport rehabilitation and running injuries.

Menaga is a highly skilled and compassionate physiotherapist with over 12 years of experience in physiotherapy practice. Her strong belief in the value of creating a partnership with her patients to help them with their recovery has made her a highly sought after expert in the field of physiotherapy.

Education and ongoing learning has been a cornerstone of Menaga’s journey. After completing her Masters of Physical Therapy at McMaster University, she pursued advanced training in the McKenzie Method of MDT and has completed their rigorous credentialing program, and continues to be involved in courses and seminars related to orthopedic practice. Furthermore, Menaga has completed training in Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy.

Menaga’s expertise extends to a wide range of areas, including sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and vertigo/dizziness. Menaga knows first hand the value of being able to treat oneself after struggling with years of chronic neck pain herself. She possesses a unique ability to tailor treatment plans to meet the specific needs of each individual, combining evidence-based practices with a holistic approach.

Nadir completed his Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at McGill University and then completed his Masters in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto.

Nadir has worked with high level athletes and sports teams, and he is involved in a teaching role with the University of Toronto where he shares his years of experience with students, and others. He has also been featured by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association for his work with online physiotherapy.

In his practice, Nadir uses an evidence based approach to apply orthopedic manual therapy, individualized exercise prescription, and corrective techniques. He enjoys working collaboratively with other health care professionals and has worked extensively with sports medicine specialists and orthopedic specialists.

In his free time, Nadir enjoys flying - he has been a certified pilot since 2004. He has also spent his summers working for Canadian Coast Guard’s Inshore Rescue Boat Program.
